Busy birthday weekend! We have been celebrating Theresa's birthday since last Wednesday.

On Tuesday night the girls and I went out birthday shopping. Well, one of the presents was a new iPhone 3Gs and in the process of buying the new phone. We caused her old phone to get deactivated. So - we had to give it to her on Wednesday night. We saved the rest 'til Saturday though.

Thursday night we went to see Fairview High School's fall musical production of 42nd Street. It was excellent. We are always amazed at how well those kids do. Amazing vocals, great sets and costumes, the orchestra in the pit was good. So much fun. All four of the Sherard's went and we met up with Marlys, Clara and Emma Lietz.

Friday night was a night home after a long week. We ordered Pizza Hut pizza and caught up on our DVR shows. We have been enjoying Glee this season. Good musical numbers - this week was Defying Gravity from Wicked. Survivor after that.

Saturday we started with pancakes by Megan. Something was a little off - but they turned out to be great crepes :-) Theresa opened presents. Then the girls went out for mani/pedis and visited a display of miniature houses (i choose to stay home :-) walked the dog, watched missouri beat k-state, kansas loose to nebraska, colorado lose to iowa state. too bad arizona lost. Then we all headed back out to 2012 at the movies. It was fun - crazy special effects. We ran into Jack and Desra McDonald at the movies and then all headed over to Red Robin for a birthday dinner. It was snowing pretty good by that time. Made it home safe and sound and started watching Cinderella Man with Russell Crowe about James J. Braddock the boxer. Excellent movie. We couldn't quite finish it last night - too sleepy.

Today we got up and trudged through the snow to church. It was a small crowd. Most people stayed in. After church we made a Safeway run for some brunch fixin's and nacho fixin's for dinner tonight. We finished up Cinderella Man. I did the last few days of my BSF. And am now feeling a bit dozy. Might be nap time.

Chloe was supposed to head to Boulder High for the fall sports awards celebration but we just got the news it was cancelled for tonight. I guess we are all in! yeah - i like being cozied in as a family.

We are counting down the days 'til we leave on Friday. Can't wait.

Luv u,

Jeff
